THE CALENDAR

Read an event listing with confidence.

Dates, source checks and the difference between a listing and a guarantee.

AdultClub editorial · October 2026 · General planning guidance

Look for the original source

A useful listing links to the actual organizer. Follow that link for current registration, admission and cancellation details. Third-party summaries can become stale even when an event was real when first checked.

Pay attention to time zones

Dates and start times should be specific. A date-only listing means the exact start time was not verified; it should not be presented as midnight or an invented evening time. Events that run overnight can end on a different date.

Understand freshness

A source check records when the site successfully retrieved information. It does not prove the organizer has updated its own page or that the event will proceed. Reconfirm with the organizer before traveling.

Do not overread a missing listing

An event disappearing from a small collection does not necessarily mean cancellation. The calendar can have a limited horizon or incomplete source coverage. AdultClub does not treat a missing feed item as evidence that an event has been cancelled.
