A tagged location, distinctive outfit or work story can reveal who attended even when you leave out a name. Ask permission for a specific disclosure before sharing it. Review photos for people in the background as well as the subject. If you are unsure whether someone agreed, leave the detail out.

Read the club’s phone and photography rules before entering. Ask where you can send a message if devices are restricted inside. Store your phone as instructed and follow the rules for each room. An approved photo area may still require the permission of everyone in the picture.
If you meet another guest elsewhere, let them choose whether to acknowledge where you met. A greeting can stay ordinary. When talking about your visit, describe your own experience and omit details that expose someone else’s attendance or relationships. The same care applies to private group chats, which other people can copy or forward.
